Trust, but Verify: Org Advisories for Scams, Griefing & Bad Actors

Submit and browse org-internal Star Citizen incident advisories scams, theft, griefing with moderator review, evidence uploads, and factual reports only.

The 'verse has angels, opportunists, and people who will empty your freight elevator with a smile. Orgs that remember incidents only in oral tradition eventually pay tuition again.

Advisories are org-internal, factual incident reports so your members can make informed decisions about who they deal with.

What They Are (and Aren't)

Advisories describe what happened, when, where, and who. They are never calls to action against a player. No witch hunts. No "go ruin this guy." Information only. For suspected cheating, still report through official CIG channels too.

All members can browse and submit. Moderators (org admins or Can Moderate Advisories) approve before a report goes live. Pending submissions can be cancelled by the author. Evidence: optional screenshot (auto-compressed) or a link to video/logs.

How to Submit Cleanly

  1. Open Advisories (org selected).
  2. Submit Advisory in-game handle, category, factual description.
  3. Attach evidence if you have it.
  4. Wait for moderator approval; cancel if you filed in error.

Filter by category or search handles when you're about to trade with someone new.

Why It Matters for Your Org

One shared board beats twenty private DMs. New members inherit institutional memory. Traders slow down before wiring aUEC to a known pattern. Pin Advisories to the Dashboard or hide the link in Settings → Menu if your org doesn't use it.

Final Approach

Fly friendly. Document the exceptions. Keep the board factual, and the org stays smarter than the last scam.
