Seat the Fleet: Event Ops Crew Rosters That Actually Work

Seat the Fleet: Event Ops Crew Rosters That Actually Work

Plan Star Citizen org events with Event Ops visual ship seating charts, claimable crew seats, loot splits, and fleet structure tied to your calendar events.

The calendar says "Bounty Fleet Night." Twenty people RSVP Going. Nobody knows who's on the Hammerhead turrets until you're already in quantum and three gunners are in the wrong Discord channel.

Event Ops is the seating chart your fleet deserved.

From RSVP to Seat

Mark Going on the event, then open Event Ops from the event card (or the Operations sidebar). The roster is an org chart you can zoom and pan: Command → fleets → ships. Expand a hull or Expand all and Claim this seat. One ship seat per member; claiming another moves you. Leave seat frees yours. Command-branch officers can still hold a ship seat when needed.

Members claim open seats. Roles with Manage Event Ops (and org admins) assign anyone and Save on the full editor. Mark ships Available for Org on Fleet so coordinators can add hulls to the plan. Ships already on a roster stay planned even if availability flips later the add-ship picker uses the current pool.

Loot & Splits Without the Scroll

Next to Ships & crew, the Loot & splits tab handles salvage lines and random winners so you aren't scrolling a fifty-seat chart to roll who gets the cool box.

Phone-Friendly Ops

On mobile the chart starts fitted to the screen pinch to zoom, drag to pan, expand a ship, claim. Ops don't only happen on ultrawides.

How to Run Tomorrow Night

  1. Create the calendar event; members RSVP Going (set preferred roles if you use signup roles).
  2. Coordinators build fleets/ships on Event Ops; members claim seats.
  3. Optional: pair with Mumble/Star Comms ship channels you've already announced.
  4. After the op, use Loot & splits, then mark the night done on the calendar.

Why It Matters for Your Org

Seating is doctrine made visible. Turret rows pull manned mounts from hull data (PDCs skipped they're automatic). Preferred roles show under Going members so coordinators stop guessing. Pin Event Ops to the Dashboard for one-click access during briefings.

Final Approach

Show up Knowing your seat. That's how fleets look professional before the first red pip appears.
