Plot the Ground, Own the Night: Expeditions & Race Boards
Plan Star Citizen ground convoys and race nights with globe routing, classified crew waypoints, scout updates, sessions, and a live Race Board on scorg.org.
Space gets the trailers. Ground gets the stories — canyon runs, moon convoys, race nights where the only law is the checkpoint order. Expeditions is SCORG's campaign layer for those nights: not a sticky note in Discord, a real ops home.
Overview → Route → Crew → Sessions
• Overview Ops Brief (voice, weather, rules), join/leave crew, stop names visible; coords unlock after you Join. • Route pick planet/moon across Stanton, Pyro, or Nyx. Set start/end on the globe. Auto-route for ground vehicles cuts steep slopes, prefers valleys, can avoid known POIs. Reorder stops, add terrain notes, Save. After you drive a leg: Scout Clear / Blocked / Detour. • Crew who's on the run, vehicles, race roles (racer / marshal / spectator). • Sessions weekly or one-off nights, optional calendar events, after-action notes (losses, salvage, what worked).
Classified on purpose: non-crew don't get the live route. That's how you keep griefers off your waypoints.
Race Board
Create the expedition as type Race and unlock the Race Board: phases from Briefing → Staging → Live → Cool-down → Final. Racers register, pick class, update status. Coordinators seed entries, green-flag, enter finish times and splits, handle DNF/DQ/OTL. Ghost ETAs on the Route tab help marshals compare live pace.
How Members Join
- Select your org → open Expeditions.
- Open a campaign with Open signup → Join crew / Join as racer.
- Read the Ops Brief; Copy coords on stops for in-game paste.
- Scout legs and Save updates; for races, Register on the Race Board.
- Check Sessions for the next night.
You don't need Manage Expeditions to play — only to create/edit campaigns.
Why It Matters for Your Org
Ground ops used to die in screenshot folders. Now the route, crew, and results live where the roster already is. Export/import route packs to share plans without leaking results. Division tags keep industrial vs racing units clean.
Final Approach
Pick a moon. Plot A to B. Brief the crew. Green flag when ready. The dust trail is the trophy.
