No Wipe, New Connie, Crates That Sit Still: Alpha 4.10.2 for Orgs

No Wipe, New Connie, Crates That Sit Still: Alpha 4.10.2 for Orgs

Alpha 4.10.2 is live with no wipe RSI Discovery Month, the Constellation Mk V rental, a Mk IV rework, and a physics pass for loose cargo. An org checklist for…

Your launcher should read 4.10.2-LIVE.12881860. If it still says 4.10.1, log out of the RSI Launcher and let it look again. Servers came back on October 9. A mid-week hotfix after that covered hybrid and HDR crashes if those were kicking you to desktop, update before you brief the org.

The question everyone asks first: there is no wipe. aUEC, in-game ships, and stored gear carry over from 4.10.1. "Imprint your loadouts" in the notes is housekeeping, not a character reset. Pledged ships are yours. aUEC is still test money and can vanish on a future patch. Do not treat the bank as a savings account.

What Actually Landed

• RSI Discovery Month Stanton contracts through October 20. Combat, hauling, salvage, mining, recovery. Not a Free Fly. You still need a game package. • Constellation Mk V Centaurus not for sale. Finish the Constellation Rental Offer on the transport track and you get five days with the Centaurus and its Skylark snub. Then it goes back. • Constellation Mk IV Gold Standard — Andromeda, Aquila, Taurus, Phoenix. New glass, cargo lift, interiors, damage states. If your org's doctrine ship is a Connie, fly it once before you brief from memory. The struts are gone. The view is not the one in last month's screenshot. • Loose-object netcode crates, grenades, throwables. Less sliding, less rubber-banding. Ships, people, and mounted guns are not on this new system.

First Week — Org Checklist

  1. Confirm the launcher build in the event brief so nobody queues on an old client.
  2. Re-save ship loadouts. One person always forgets.
  3. Put a Discovery Month night on the calendar before October 20. After that the rental offer is a story, not a ship.
  4. Assign lanes: fighters on defense around microTech, haulers on the expo run, salvagers and miners on the collection track.
  5. Log weird inventory (missing items after the patch) and Error 41070 in Advisories or a Field Manual page. Relog and check station inventory before you declare a ship lost.
  6. Haul a test crate. If it stays where you put it, update the cargo SOP. If it doesn't, say so the new netcode is for loose boxes, not a promise that every grid is perfect.

Final Approach

Point releases are for smoke tests, not mythology. Fly the Connie. Move one box. Then write the doctrine.
