Star Citizen doesn't fail new pilots because the game is "too hard." It fails them because the advice is three patches out of date, the aUEC numbers are lies, and nobody tells you which pad to leave first.
So we built a front door.
Star Citizen for Dummies is a public beginner hub on scorg.org no login required. It walks the shape of the Persistent Universe: your first session, making money, ships, travel, combat, dying (and coming back), finding crew, and why every patch quietly murders last month's guide video.
A Guide That Points at Living Tools
Chapters don't try to be a second database. When you need real numbers, gold links drop you into the live tools:
• Mining ore and locations that still move with the patch • Salvage what the loop actually pays • Refueling prices and fill-up math • Keybindings so your hands match the cockpit • Fleet / Missions / Economy / Navigation deeper tools (free account)
Memorize the shape. Trust the tools for the numbers. The page shows an Updated date so you know when the copy was last reviewed.
How to Use It
- Open /star-citizen-for-dummies (public Tools menu, or Game Data when signed in).
- Start with Your first session if you haven't left a pad yet.
- Follow gold tool links when a chapter asks for live data.
- When flying alone stops being fun, use LFG or Find an Org.
Signed-in pilots can pin For Dummies to the Dashboard. The Help Center still covers SCORG features (roster, events, Discord) this hub is the game guide, not a duplicate wiki of the website.

Recruitment dies when rookies bounce. Point every invite at For Dummies before you throw them into Pyro. Shared onboarding means fewer "where do I buy a multitool" pings in Discord and faster time-to-useful on the roster.
