Out here, the difference between a clean docking and a hull-scraping disaster is often a single muscle-memory keystroke. Star Citizen hands every pilot a console with hundreds of bindings spread across flight, on-foot, mining, salvage, EVA, and a dozen other modes — and then asks you to just know where everything lives. For too long, the answer has been squinting at spreadsheets and half-remembered forum threads.
No more. Today we're opening the airlock on the SCORG Keybindings Hub — a living, visual map of the verse's controls, built right into your dashboard.
Your Controls, Finally Drawn in the Stars The Keybindings Hub starts with the game's full default binding reference and renders it the way your brain actually wants it: on the hardware. Flip between device tabs and the same actions light up where your hands really rest:
Keyboard — the full board, every key labeled with its action, fully responsive from ultrawide down to your phone in a hangar queue. Mouse — choose your weapon. We ship clean, dark-themed product art for a Standard 3-button mouse, the Logitech G502, MX Master, Razer Naga, and Corsair Scimitar, with side-button banks mapped for the MMO crowd. Gamepad — Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo layouts for couch commanders. Joystick / HOTAS — the good stuff. Logitech X56, Thrustmaster Warthog, and VKB Gladiator NXT, drawn as real product imagery with color-coded callout boxes and leader lines pointing to exactly which switch does what. Every control is a tappable hotspot. Click a button, hat, or axis and the detail panel tells you precisely which action it fires — no decoder ring required.
Bring Your Own Loadout Defaults are a starting point. Your real cockpit is the one you've tuned over a hundred hours. So we built the Hub to speak your language directly.
Pop into Star Citizen's Controls → Mappings, export your profile, and drop that _exported.xml straight into the Hub with Upload XML. In an instant, your custom binds overlay the visual map — your rebinds, your activation modes, your Stream Deck macros showing up as the keyboard keys they emulate. It's your ship on screen, not a stranger's.
The XML never leaves your browser during parsing; it's read locally and rendered on the spot. Fast, private, and yours.
Catch Conflicts Before They Catch You There's a special kind of dread that hits when you mash a key mid-dogfight and two things happen. The Hub's Conflicts tab hunts those gremlins down for you — scanning your merged bindings and flagging any input that's been assigned to more than one action. Find the collision on the ground, not while a hostile is closing to weapons range.
Now: Save Your Profiles to the Cloud
Here's the upgrade we're most excited about. Until now, an uploaded profile lived only for that session. Refresh the page and it drifted off into the black.
No longer. Signed-in pilots can now save their uploaded profiles straight to their account. Hit Save profile after an upload and it's stored against your callsign — name, override count, and the game version it was built for, all kept together. Come back tomorrow, on a different machine, and your loadouts are waiting in a tidy Saved profiles shelf. One click reloads any of them; one click on the trash icon retires the ones you've outgrown.
Your profiles are private to you — locked down so only your account can read, write, or delete them. Your binds are your business.
How to Get Started
Open the Keybindings page from your SCORG dashboard. Browse the default map, or hit Upload XML and feed it your exported actionmaps.xml. Flip through Keyboard, Mouse, Gamepad, and Joystick / HOTAS to see your binds drawn on real hardware. Check the Conflicts tab to clear any double-booked inputs. Sign in and hit Save profile to park your loadout in the cloud for next time.
