Alt-tabbing mid-run is how you miss the pad. Flight Overlay is a slim icon bar that sits over borderless Star Citizen. Click an icon, the panel grows under the bar. Click it again, you're back to the strip. Same account, same plans, no second brain.
What Lives on the Bar
Grouped the way you fly:
• Hauling — Route (every stop, LOAD / DELIVER, Done here → next) and Cargo (real bay grids for the current stop). Both follow your Hauling plan, synced to your account so the companion sees it too. • Price UEX by system and category. Highest sellers near you, cheapest buys, spread per SCU. • Mining ore by name or scanner signature, plus a rock-scan verdict: will this laser crack it, how much SCU, what's it worth. • Fabricator recipes, craft time, where to mine the ingredients, which missions drop the print. • Fleet Ships (hangar + role grid + hardpoints), Fuel (QF / H2 fill cost at every terminal), Exec (PYAM hangar clock), Vendors (shopping list + cheapest shops). • Weapons FPS and ship guns. Best in class, damage at range, where to buy, what fits your hulls. • Org — Missions (contracts by system and type) and MAYDAY (fire, respond, resolve without leaving the game).
No game hooks. It does not read memory, inject code, or send keystrokes. It is a locked-down window that only loads scorg.org. Safe with CIG's terms.
How to Use It
- Sign in → Game Data → Flight Overlay. Arm the panels you want. Set opacity and text size.
- Open HUD for a browser pop-out (fine on a second monitor; it hides when the game takes focus).
- Over the game: install the Windows companion from that page — Microsoft Store when you can (signed, updates itself), or the direct installer if Store is blocked.
- Set Star Citizen to borderless windowed. Exclusive fullscreen hides every overlay, ours included.
- Drag the bar by the logo. Position is remembered. Ctrl+Shift+O = click-through. Ctrl+Shift+H = hide / show. Tray icon does both.
- Pin a panel with ⧉ when you want Route and Cargo side by side.
